2014 Lenne Estate Pinot Noir
Description
The 2014 Lenné Estate Pinot Noir entirely estate fruit and is primarilya blend of the Pommard and 115 clones. The Pommard is a layered clone
with earth tones and dark bing cherry aromatics. The 115 is a more red
fruited clone and is always produces the most elegant Pinot Noir due to
the fine grained tannins. We love how these two clones interact in the
bottle. The wine has dark bing and black cherry, currant and mocha
aromas and a sandalwood aroma that always comes in our wines with
bottle age. On the palate the wine is layered and supple with good acidity
and a long finish. This wine is nearly 10 years old and will continue to
improve over the next 10 years.
