Guided Private Walking Vineyard Tour
Guided Private Walking Vineyard Tour
Description
Tours will resume with nicer weather, in late March or early April 2022. By appointment only, please email us to make your reservation. See our Vineyard Tour article for full details.
Walk through the rows, touch and taste the grapes, and savor the view from the summit of our hillside vineyard. See for yourself how elevation, orientation, and soil type work together to make Lenne's an ideal place to grow spectacular Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Tours are guided by our Winemaker Steve Lutz or our Lead Wine Educator Eric Bruce. Your guide will walk you through the vines and along the rows, up and down hills, and pour you several wines during the experience. See first hand how vines are grafted and pruned, how trellising works, how we deal with vine and grape maturation, what goes into canopy management, the pros and cons of dry farming, weed and pest control, and much more.
Tours are priced at $85 per guest, accomodate 2-12 individuals, and run about 90 minutes. There is only one tour per day, at 11am. (We can sometimes arrange other times appointment on weekdays. The $85 fee can be waived with a purchase of $350 or more.)
We pace the walking with sipping and gazing, but be aware that there is some uphill hiking required. Please wear practical shoes. You will be walking through a working vineyard and footing can be slippery on gravel, grass, and earth.
Tours availability is very limited; please email us to secure a reservation: eric@lenneestate.com.
