Lenné Wine Friends Wine At times we also offer wines from local producers we like. 2007 Lenné Estate Pinot Noir Each year we select the best barrels from our estate vineyard on a steep, south facing slope near the town of Yamhill and label it under the Lenné Esate label. Warm, steep sites like Lenné, produced exceptional wines in the 2007 vintage. This wine is stunning, developed and rich on the palate. Aromas of ripe red cherry and Asian spice give way to a full mid palate and persistent, long finish. $55~ 91 pts-Wine Advocate Price: $55.00 Gift Certificates We have gift certificates available in $50, $100, $150 and $200 dollar increments. If you have any problems, just email us at steve@lenneestate.com. 2008 LeNez Pinot Noir Like our 2007 LeNez Pinot Noir, the 2008 is entirely made from estate fruit, with the same yields as our Lenné Estate Pinot Noir. The 2008 vintage has been recognized as one of the best vintages ever in Oregon. While restrained early, the wines have great aging potential. This wine represents all five Pinot Noir clones planted at Lenné. The tell tale mocha aroma, a signature of Lenné’s terroir, is upfront, followed by cherry, pomegranate and anise. The wine has a soft entry and a lingering finish. Price: $30.00 2008 Sad Jack 777 Pinot Noir After we selected the best barrels for the Lenné Estate, we separated two distinct barrels of the 777 clone and offer these wines only at the tasting room and here, online. The 2008 Sad Jack 777 is named after our two old dogs, Sadie and Jackson and comes from the southwest corner of the vineyard. The wine exhibits the Lenné terroir of a black cherry and mocha in the nose but with underlying cranberry and anise aromas. On the palate the wine is silky, elegant and complete with a long finish.
